HOW TO MAKE A ROUTINE APPOINTMENT

blue_calendar_2011Contact the surgery when you wish to be seen by the GP or Nurse.  If the GP of your choice is not available you will be offered an appointment with another GP or alternatively you can sign up for Emis Access.

Emis access allows you to make an appointment with a GP over the internet.  If you are interested in this service, please ask the receptionist for details.

If the GP of your choice is working at the other surgery premises from your usual surgery, and still has available appointments on the day you request, you are welcome to see them there, provided you are happy to travel.

Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions.  You can expect to see a nurse within one week.

  • If you condition is non urgent, you can expect to see a GP within one week, though you may have to wait longer if you want to see a particular GP
  • Nurse Practitioner Telephone Advice
  • Nurse Practitioner Minor Illness Clinic
  • Same day access for emergencies
  • Pre-bookable appointments 4 weeks in advance

Let us know if more than one person in the family needs to be seen.

We can give you a longer appointment than normal if you so wish, for example, if you have more than one problem.
